We’re delighted to welcome Professor Amanda Daley as the new Chair of the NIHR Research Professorships Funding Committee.

Amanda brings extensive expertise in public health research, with a particular focus on behavioural medicine, physical activity, weight management, and women’s health at Loughbrough University. As the principal investigator on several major clinical trials, she has helped shape research that improves health outcomes for people across the UK.
As Chair, Amanda will support the NIHR Academy in continuing to strengthen the Research Professorships Programme, ensuring the scheme attracts and supports an even broader range of talented health and care researchers.
