We are proud to congratulate Dr Xin Li from the Cardiovascular theme of the NIHR Leicester BRC on successfully completing the ICURe Explore 2024 programme (£35k) (delivered by SETsquared Partnership) and for being recommended to pursue the spinout route for the EasyCardiogram project.
We are also excited to share that Dr Li has been awarded the ICURe Exploit 2025 project, ‘EasyCardioGram: Developing a low-cost home ECG kit for remote monitoring and wider screening’.
This pioneering work, supported by colleagues from the University of Leicester’s Research and Enterprise Division (RED), is a collaboration with Professor Andre Ng (Department of Cardiovascular Science at Leicester), the Leicester Precision Health Institute, NIHR Leicester BRC, and BHF CRE.
By expanding access to vital cardiac screening and remote monitoring technology, EasyCardioGram has the potential to significantly improve patient outcomes.
